When Jas reached out to me, she was undertaking a complete website rehaul and initially asked about my blog writing package. She already knew the importance of consistent blogging for SEO, connecting with her audience, and highlighting her services but was considering passing it off to a copywriting professional.
Yet, when we hopped on a Discovery Call, Jas shared that she was getting hundreds of website visitors a month, but they weren’t converting into bookings and sales.
So we took a step back.
Instead of focusing on her photography blog, we scheduled a Strategy Call to examine her website copy, design, and sales funnels and identify ways to get more of her ideal clients on her page and clicking her ‘Book Me’ button.
When we met, Jas knew exactly the energy she wanted to communicate and the types of clients she connected best with.
The vibe? Enthusiastic, easy-going, and unapologetically real. She’s the type of photographer who will have your grumpy uncle busting a move on the dance floor at your wedding, and she’s looking for clients who aren’t afraid to get cozy, playful, or show off their love.
It’s true that a picture is worth a thousand words…but Jas needed the right words and strategy to accompany her gorgeous photos. She had already taken on redesigning her website, updating her portfolio, and redefining her photography packages to elevate her website but the last few steps were making sure her copy matched her branding and resonated with her type of clients.
When it came to the website copy for her photography site, our goals were:
Reassess keyword options to make sure she was speaking to Google and her ideal clients.
Create clear pathways for potential clients to follow by speaking to their feelings, answering their questions, and making it easy for them to choose Jas as their photographer.
Emphasize Jas’s personality and approach to photography to highlight why she’s the photographer her clients need!
After our initial Discovery Call, I reviewed Jasmin’s in-progress site, conducted keyword research, and came up with a few messaging suggestions based on our conversation.
Then we jumped onto a Zoom call to walk through her entire site together.
During the call, we covered keyword basics like how to pick the best keywords and where to place them in her website copy, how to write about herself while still writing for her ideal clients, and where to add extra details that her readers are looking for that would give her an edge of her competitors.
Jasmin went to work immediately after our call. She incorporated everything we talked about and launched her stunning new site only days later.
“I felt a lot of confidence after our chat. My new website reflects me but also serves the clients I want to work with. The booking process was so easy and quick! The chat never felt overwhelming and was so easy to follow. The playback was so handy as well. All of the suggestions were so helpful and I used every single one.”
